Wishing Stones

from $16.00

A rock with a single white perfectly unbroken stripe all around the circumference of the stone. There can be no breaks or pauses in the white quartz ring. The rigging can be crossed by other rings but must have no beginning & no end. Trace your finger around the line while closing your eyes & making a wish. Then throw the stone into the sea as far as you can or give it to another person & your wish will come true. Wishing Stones are part of a dyke that intruded vertically into a fissure in the surrounding bedrock around 60 million years ago.
